The Air Force Association, founded in 1946, and now the Air & Space Forces Association, educates the public about the critical
role of aerospace power in our nation's defense. It advocates for aerospace power and supports the United States Air Force, the
Air Force family, and aerospace education. The AFA is a 501(c)(3) independent, nonpartisan, nonprofit educational organization, to which all donations are tax deductible.
By joining, attending, and serving in key positions within your local chapter, you can become more knowledgeable on the issues
affecting the Air & Space Forces and your nation's security. AFA disseminates information through its main web site at www.afa
.org, the monthly Air Force Magazine and Daily Reports, the Gen. Billy Mitchell Institute for Airpower Studies, and at national conferences.
