The Air Force Association, founded in 1946, educates the public about the critical role of aerospace power in our nation's defense.
It advocates for aerospace power and supports the United States Air Force, the Air Force family, and aerospace education. The
AFA is a 501(c)(3) independent, nonpartisan, nonprofit educational organization, to which all donations are tax deductible.
By joining, attending, and serving in key positions within your local chapter, you can become more knowledgeable on the issues
affecting the Air Force and your nation's security. AFA disseminates information through its main web site at www.afa.org, the monthly Air Force Magazine and Daily Reports, the Gen. Billy Mitchell Institute for Airpower Studies, and national conferences and symposia.
By becoming an Air Force Association member, you will receive monthly issues of the Air Force Magazine and are eligible for the
many benefits, which include discounts on credit cards, insurance, travel, merchandise and other services including legal. You will
also be associated automatically with a New Jersey local chapter if you reside within a chapters allocated zip codes. However, you
still have the option to affiliate yourself with any other chapter within the AFA.
